Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Frontier Engineer to pilot and migrate a cloud-native payment hub from Azure to AWS and GCP, leveraging GenAI to accelerate delivery. You will collaborate with developers, QA, cloud and DevOps teams and clients from Cognizant's Digital Engineering group.
The role emphasizes polyglot development with Java/Spring Boot/Angular, cloud-native design, CI/CD pipelines, and GenAI-assisted testing across platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Frontier Engineer with GenAI tooling.
- Polyglot development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong API development experience.
- Hands-on experience building user interfaces with Angular.
- Cloud development experience on AWS and/or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Migrate API and UI code from Azure to AWS and GCP platforms.
- Develop API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular across cloud-native environments.
- Design and build cloud-native solutions on AWS and GCP, including CI/CD DevOps pipelines and database engineering.
- Apply GenAI tools to accelerate testing and QA activities across the migration effort.
- Collaborate as a polyglot engineer across development, QA, cloud engineering, and DB engineering workstreams to deliver the pilot.
