Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Migration Consultant - Modern Platforms to partner with cross-functional teams on migration engagements. You’ll help discover client environments, design migration approaches, and oversee moving applications, data, and infrastructure to on-prem, cloud, or hybrid destinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or military experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• 1+ years of migration experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of IaaS/PaaS cloud services and virtualization.
• Experience with migration tools and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing a comprehensive migration strategy based on requirements.
• Assess the current IT landscape and define migration scope.
• Help select hosting models and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop migration plans including rehosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting.
• Lead the migration process to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with infra, DevOps, security, and networking teams.
