Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect focused on AWS migrations and modern platforms. The role blends hands-on solution design with leadership in a pre‑sales context, guiding client engagements and shaping cloud migration strategies.

You will drive architecture across AWS services, implement security and governance, and lead delivery alignment with business outcomes. Remote-ready with global client exposure, this position emphasizes technical excellence and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture or comparable roles.
5+ years in solutions architecture, pre-sales, delivery, or customer-facing technical roles.
Deep AWS expertise across core services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EKS) with container orchestration knowledge.
Exceptional communication with executives; able to translate AWS into business value.
Experience in cloud migration (lift‑and‑shift, re‑platform, re‑architect).
Proficiency with DevOps, CI/CD and modern app architectures on AWS.

Responsibilities

Develop client-facing deliverables (solutions summaries, proposals, SOWs, RFP/RFI responses).
Lead workshops and migrations of on‑premises apps to AWS.
Design cloud security, IAM strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Drive IaC to build automated CI/CD pipelines (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Act as SME and manage the sales cycle from requirements to delivery handoff.
Own proposal lifecycle and cross‑functional reviews to ensure high‑quality client artifacts.
