Canonical is hiring a Software Engineer to work on Linux, cloud infrastructure, pipelines and automation, and open source software. You will build and automate image delivery, contribute features to Ubuntu for public clouds, and collaborate with a distributed team worldwide.

You will work across build systems (Python, Jenkins, shell), cloud integrations, and delivery of Ubuntu products to diverse workloads from web servers to GPU‑accelerated AI for servers, VMs and containers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM or equivalent.
• Hands-on public cloud experience.
• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes), DevOps automation, open source, APIs, Linux admin or Python packaging.
• Proficient Python development on Linux.

Responsabilités

• Build automated image delivery, testing, and publication pipelines.
• Design and integrate new Ubuntu features for public clouds.
