Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of cloud engineering or infrastructure experience with IaC and Linux systems.
• At least 2 years of mentoring or technical leadership experience.
• DoD 8140 compliance (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CASP, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant job/military experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure design for mission‑critical cloud workloads.
• Set IaC standards and technical direction for IaC practices.
• Design disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
• Implement security controls, STIGs, and remediation.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and mentor engineers on architecture decisions.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and review IaC code.
