Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support AWS with a mix of counseling and transactional work. You will partner with engineering, procurement and supply chain teams on hardware, software, licensing, and services agreements, helping to mitigate risks and protect IP across global deployments.

Ideal candidates have strong negotiation skills, multi-project coordination, and experience with IT/tech contract transactions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal experience in transactional work.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial or technology-related contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide business-line counseling to engineering and supply chain teams.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial and technology-related agreements.
• Advise business partners on legal, commercial and operational risks.
• Develop and implement vendor engagement and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues across the organization.
