Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a cloud engineering professional to deploy and optimize cloud infrastructure for clients and internal stakeholders. You will provision new hosts, design secure compute environments, and manage IAM, security groups, and CSP services.

You will apply IaC and CI/CD practices, write automation scripts, and translate high-level goals into detailed requirements while collaborating across teams to ensure successful deployments and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• CSP Associate level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud.
• Professional level certification a plus.
• 8-15 years of IT experience with a combination of:
• 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
• 4+ years experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux based operating systems in an administrative/support/engineering capacity

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy new cloud-based computing services at scale for clients and deliver provisioning of new hosts.
• Formulate detailed network, storage and compute design specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic cloud environment.
• Manage cloud services: Identity and Access Management, Security Groups, and CSP native services.
• Utilize infrastructure as code, CI/CD, architecture reviews to create and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop scripts and templates for provisioning and configuration of resources.
• Collaborate with internal/external parties to translate high-level objectives into technical requirements.
• Review operational requirements with teams for deployment and support.
• Develop documentation for best practices in server infrastructure and cloud computing.
• Serve as a client liaison to ensure needs are met.
• Assist with identifying planning of potential new cloud services/features/capabilities.
