Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking an experienced cloud engineering professional to analyze, design, code, and test automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. You will maintain fully automated CD processes for Linux environments and support CI/CD tooling and governance.

Responsibilities include leading cloud strategy, migration planning, and training teams on IaC, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional level cloud certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI or Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years of IT experience with a combination of.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
• 5+ years experience debugging Windows or Linux based operating systems in an administrative/support/engineering capacity

Responsibilities

• Lead configurations to meet program and customer needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud deployment and enhancement.
• Provide oversight and consultation on cloud strategies and lead cloud projects.
• Serve as SME in cloud solutions and provide advanced technical and engineering support for internal groups and customers.
• Design network, storage, and compute specifications for stable and secure cloud operations.
• Develop cloud service strategies: IAM, Security Groups, CSP native services.
• Participate in migration planning and lead infrastructure deployment efforts.
• Train team on software engineering methodologies to ensure standardization of cloud infrastructure.
• Translate high-level objectives into comprehensive technical requirements.
• Validate operational requirements with project teams and client services groups for deployment and ongoing support.
• Refine documentation for best practices relating to server infrastructure and cloud computing operations.
• Provide technical assessment of requirements from conception through implementation.
• Assist with identifying and planning potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
