Job summary

Voyatek is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer within the NYPA IT stack in White Plains. The role focuses on building scalable cloud foundations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with emphasis on IaC and automation.

You will write scripts to deploy resources, support DevOps pipelines, and enforce immutable infrastructure while optimizing costs and security across platforms. The position is full-time and not open to contractors.

Qualifications

• Cloud Platform Mastery across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Ansible.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong networking and Linux/Windows fundamentals.
• College degree and cloud/systems certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud foundations.
• Collaborate with NYPA IT to implement IaC and provision systems.
• Write automation scripts to deploy cloud resources (Terraform/Ansible).
• Support pipelines enabling rapid, reliable delivery.
• Maintain immutable infrastructure to reduce drift.
• Monitor performance and plan capacity for cloud environments.
• Diagnose outages and perform root-cause analysis.
• Set up monitoring with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
