Job summary

US Tech Solutions in White Plains, NY, is recruiting a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month, hybrid role. The candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud foundations, implementing IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Location is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. You will collaborate with IT daily to optimize costs and security, monitor environments, and support production services through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cloud or systems-related field.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
• Experience with IaC and cloud automation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts to deploy cloud resources using Terraform or Ansible.
• Support DevOps teams by enabling pipelines for rapid, reliable deployment; enforce immutable infrastructure.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and perform capacity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve cloud outages with minimal service disruption.
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support and routine maintenance.

Project Overview

• This Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role will participate in designs, builds, and maintenance of scalable foundations for cloud applications and infrastructure.
• They will collaborate across company IT daily to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage and provide provision systems and services, and optimize costs and security across major platforms like AmClienton Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Clienture, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts (using tools like Terraform or Ansible) to deploy cloud resources.
• Assist DevOps teams by supporting developers that build pipelines that enable rapid, reliable, and automated application delivery Maintain consistency across environments by using immutable infrastructure principles, reducing deployment drift.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and execute capacity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve complex, cloud-related issues during outages with minimal disruption to services Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production services, perform root cause analysis, and handle routine maintenance
