Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in White Plains, NY to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud foundations. You will work with AWS, Azure, or GCP, implement IaC, and support DevOps pipelines to enable reliable, automated delivery.

The role requires containerization skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, plus basic networking and Windows/Linux knowledge. This is a hybrid position with in-office presence required three days per week at White Plains.

Qualifications

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) experience required.
• IaC tooling with Terraform or Ansible preferred.
• Containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Fundamental networking and Windows/Linux system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts to deploy cloud resources using Terraform or Ansible.
• Assist DevOps teams by supporting pipelines that enable rapid, reliable, and automated application delivery.
• Maintain consistency across environments by using immutable infrastructure principles.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and execute capacity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve cloud outages with minimal disruption to services.
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production services and perform routine maintenance.

Project Overview

This Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role will participate in designs, builds, and maintenance of scalable foundations for cloud applications and infrastructure. They will collaborate across IT daily to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage and provision systems and services, and optimize costs and security across major platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts (using tools like Terraform or Ansible) to deploy cloud resources
• Assist DevOps teams by supporting developers that build pipelines that enable rapid, reliable, and automated application delivery
• Maintain consistency across environments by using immutable infrastructure principles, reducing deployment drift
• Monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and execute capacity planning
• Diagnose and resolve complex, cloud-related issues during outages with minimal disruption to services
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production services, perform root cause analysis, and handle routine maintenance
