Job summary

Contra Costa County is seeking a Systems Software Analyst I in Concord, CA, to support cloud-based software and identity management across health IT systems. You will document processes, administer cloud services, and assist end users with application issues.

The role emphasizes agile project tracking, on-prem and cloud integrations, and endpoint management in a dynamic public health environment with a strong focus on serving diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 30 semester hours in computer science or a closely related field.
• 1 year of OS software design/maintenance on multi-user systems and 2 years of programming on multi-user systems, with at least 1 year in a higher-level language (e.g., COBOL, C, C++).
• Alternative: 3 years of applications programming on multiple user systems with two years in a higher-level language.

Responsibilities

• Develop software development practices for cloud deployments.
• Produce and manage documentation for processes.
• Administer cloud-hosted software solutions and integrations.
• Manage Identity services, on-prem Active Directory, and integrations.
• Support end users with application issues.
• Track projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Administer endpoint management and MDM solutions.
