Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an Active Directory Engineer to design, administer, and modernize the enterprise identity platform. You will ensure secure authentication, authorization, and zero-trust alignment across AD DS, Entra ID, and related services, partnering with IAM, Security, Infrastructure, and App teams.

You will develop PowerShell-based automations, oversee policy deployment, certificate services, and directory governance, while driving reliability, compliance, and scalable identity

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Typical KPI: Active Directory platform availability (99.9%+)
• Domain controller health and replication success rate
• GPO compliance

Responsibilities

• Administer AD DS and AD LDS, including DNS and DHCP.
• Integrate with Microsoft Entra ID and policy controls.
• Manage Group Policy, LDAP, Kerberos, and certificate services.
• Develop PowerShell-based automation for identity lifecycle and directory services.
• Support SOX, HIPAA, PCI, NIST, and internal security controls.
• Assist with Zero Trust identity initiatives and passwordless auth.
