Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps IAM Engineer to join a technology-focused organization supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure and identity security initiatives. You will design, automate, and maintain IAM solutions across cloud environments, with a strong focus on IaC, Microsoft Entra ID, and automation.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/IAM, hands-on Terraform/Terragrunt, and Azure AD expertise, with scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, IAM, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, federation, and identity governance.
• Experience administering and engineering solutions within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience supporting Azure cloud environments and cloud-native security services.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and access management controls.
• Experience working in remote, collaborative Agile environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support IAM solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC deployments utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID environments, including governance and authentication services.
• Automate IAM provisioning, deprovisioning, and policy enforcement through CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure security standards.
