Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps IAM Engineer to join a technology-focused organization supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure and identity security initiatives. You will design, automate, and maintain IAM solutions across cloud environments, with a strong focus on IaC, Microsoft Entra ID, and automation.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/IAM, hands-on Terraform/Terragrunt, and Azure AD expertise, with scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, IAM, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, federation, and identity governance.
• Experience administering and engineering solutions within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience supporting Azure cloud environments and cloud-native security services.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and access management controls.
• Experience working in remote, collaborative Agile environments preferred.

The DevOps IAM Engineer will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining identity and access management solutions across cloud environments, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise automation.

Responsibilities of the DevOps IAM Engineer:

• Design, implement, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID environments, including identity governance, access controls, and authentication services.
• Automate IAM provisioning, deprovisioning, and policy enforcement processes through CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Monitor IAM platforms and troubleshoot identity-related issues across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Support cloud security initiatives, RBAC implementation, privileged access management, and least-privilege access strategies.

Compensation for the DevOps IAM Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
