Job summary

SABIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Defense Controls Specialist to oversee defensive and protective cybersecurity controls across IAM, cloud, and data protection functions. You will ensure telemetry is integrated with SIEM and SOC, and manage control platforms and tooling.

The role requires governance of IAM platforms (Entra), cloud security tooling, vulnerability management, and data loss prevention, with a focus on preventing unauthorized access and protecting critical assets enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a cybersecurity/IT field.
• 8–10 years of infrastructure security including vulnerability management.
• 5+ years in cloud security and IAM controls management.
• Strong knowledge of modern vulnerability, cloud, and data protection tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IAM operational delivery and governance.
• Manage identity lifecycle, service accounts, secrets governance, and machine identities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations for IAM and access management.
• Coordinate with audit and assessment teams to address gaps and findings.
• Lead projects implementing IAM tooling and integrations.
• Maintain data protection controls and DLP capabilities.
