Job summary

Abbott Enterprise is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to oversee security across core diagnostics platforms and cloud environments, lead projects from initiation to completion, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity or related fields, 5+ years in leadership or engineering, and strong IAM, PKI, cryptography, and risk-management skills; certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Overall 10+ years’ experience with 5+ years in Cybersecurity, Software Development, or Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Customers, Vendors, Product Cybersecurity.
• Expertise with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Server infrastructure.
• Certifications such as Security+, CC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CPP, or CFE are preferred.
• Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and cryptography.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and other Cybersecurity audit certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and ensuring Abbott Enterprise is safe and secure.
• Lead cybersecurity projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage and track Core Diagnostics cybersecurity applications.
• Participate in early project phases to define security requirements.
• Conduct and support penetration testing and disaster recovery activities.
• Lead and execute risk assessments across systems, applications, and cloud environments.
• Assist with Cybersecurity audit preparation.
