Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Hardware Engineering Services engineer to own the design, development, and root-cause analysis of a new segment of accelerated servers. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions for AI/ML workloads.

You will oversee the hardware design lifecycle, work with ODMs and manufacturing partners, and manage post-launch fleet performance to meet customer requirements at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with design & innovation and research & development.
• Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, storage, network, security, database administration and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the design, development and root cause of a new segment of accelerated servers.
• Collaborate with customers to understand technical needs and goals and architect scalable solutions.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to bring servers to data center and oversee fleet performance post-launch.
• Interface with internal/external customers to define project requirements and improve operational challenges.
