Job summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking a Cloud Optimization Engineer to drive FinOps excellence across public and private cloud. You will provide cost insights, guide workload teams, and ensure budgeting alignment with NL finance resources.

You’ll collaborate with product owners, cloud architects, and engineering teams to optimize spend while preserving performance. The role emphasizes data-driven cost control, forecasting accuracy, and governance; based in San Diego with on-site work, some remote flexibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and 5+ years FinOps experience.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and cost management tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing models and budgeting concepts.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid cloud spend for private/on-prem and public cloud workloads.
• Provide cloud cost data accuracy and monthly dashboards for stakeholders.
• Deliver cost optimization recommendations and implement actions.
• Develop forecasting models and plan yearly DFS/DS budget in coordination.
• Coordinate cost management sessions and share knowledge across teams.
• Automate data pipelines, cost models, and governance standards.
