Job summary
FinOps Weekly is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to lead the full FinOps lifecycle across cloud environments, focusing on inform, optimize, and operate to improve cost efficiency and stability.
You will partner with Finance, IT, and Sales to analyze spend, forecast budgets, produce reporting, and implement cost-visibility improvements aligned with business objectives in a SaaS setting. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration for effective spend management.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, CS, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years in a FinOps or cloud cost role.
- Strong knowledge of FinOps processes and cost optimization.
- Hands-on with AWS; experience with Azure and GCP.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
Responsibilities
- Lead full FinOps lifecycle across cloud environments.
- Drive cost optimization, budget forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and apply FinOps best practices for cost efficiency.
- Monitor cloud spend, identify drivers, and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Sales to align spend with targets.
