Job summary

GDIT in Austin, TX is seeking a CLOUD FINOPS LEAD to oversee VA enterprise cloud financial operations, forecasting, and cost governance across multi-cloud environments. You will drive cost optimization, reporting, and budget alignment while collaborating with cloud engineers, finance teams and VA stakeholders.

Required 5+ years experience in FinOps or cloud cost management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to engage with leadership to deliver modernization Roadmaps and cost reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading cloud FinOps and cloud cost management.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across cloud engineering, finance, cybersecurity and hosting ops.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VA enterprise cloud financial operations with forecasting and governance.
• Lead cost reporting, dashboards, tagging strategies, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers, finance, cybersecurity and VA stakeholders.
• Deliver cost reviews, forecasts, modernization roadmaps, and optimization recommendations.
