Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to enable cost-efficient, scalable cloud usage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will embed FinOps into IaC, CI/CD, and platform design, partnering with IT and Finance to drive measurable cost optimization across our multi-cloud landscape.

The role emphasizes automation, governance, and cost visibility, with collaboration across SRE, Platform Engineering, Security, and Application teams to enable value realization.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 4–5+ years in cloud engineering, platform operations, SRE or FinOps.
• Experience with cost modeling, tagging strategies, and cloud cost governance.
• Proficiency in Python and automation for FinOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day cloud cost and usage analysis across AWS, Azure, and GCP with a focus on tagging enforcement and optimization.
• Operate and enhance cloud cost observability solutions, including dashboards and scorecards.
• Investigate cost spikes by correlating architecture, utilization and events; drive governance improvements.
