Job summary

Sei-Investments is seeking a FinOps Engineer to improve cost transparency, automation, accountability, and optimization across cloud platforms and data services. You will build scalable FinOps practices that help workload teams understand and own their spend while aligning technology consumption to business value.

This engineering-aligned enablement role focuses on tooling, reporting, automation, dashboards, and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, FinOps.
• Hands-on experience with consumption-based cloud platforms and data services.
• Ability to develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytics.
• Strong communication to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Establish cost estimation, forecasting, budgeting, alerting, and spend reviews.
• Standardize reporting, tagging, KPIs, showback inputs, and GL mapping.
• Identify spend anomalies and drive remediation with workload teams.
• Perform quarterly and annual cost reviews to drive automation and governance.
