Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cloud Cost/Finance Engineer to serve as the liaison between cloud platform teams and application stakeholders across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring secure, scalable, and mission-aligned cloud services.

You will translate cloud capabilities into actionable roadmaps, act as Voice of the Customer for cloud engineering, and champion cloud best practices to drive modernization and operational excellence throughout the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, or related areas.
• Experience with Tableau and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish, evangelize, and govern FinOps policies across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead efforts to optimize cloud commitments and advise on pricing models for workloads.
• Serve as the technical expert for cloud cost optimization and architectural reviews for cost-effectiveness.
• Identify waste and remediation plans (rightsizing, tiering, lifecycle management).
• Design and build automated tools and processes to enforce FinOps governance and cost anomaly detection.
• Develop dashboards to monitor key financial and operational metrics; partner with development teams to refactor applications for efficiency.
