Job summary

Federal Staffing Solutions Inc. in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a DHS-cleared program. You will design, build, and operate secure, multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a strong focus on DevOps, IaC, and CI/CD.

You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions that meet federal requirements, implement automation, and maintain confidence in deployment pipelines across environments.

Qualifications

Active DHS clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
3–5 years hands-on cloud engineering experience across one or more of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Demonstrated DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
Familiarity with federal cloud security requirements, including FedRAMP and DHS 4300A.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep templates.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps).
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
Collaborate with ISSOs and security engineers to meet DHS/FedRAMP requirements and support ATO activities.
Document cloud architecture, deployment processes, and operational runbooks.
