Cloud Engineer

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid)

Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.

Summary: The Cloud Engineer will provide engineering expertise in building, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for DHS CISA. This role focuses on deploying mission-critical workloads in compliant environments while supporting modernization and Zero Trust initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage workloads in AWS GovCloud and Azure Gov.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Implement Zero Trust and FedRAMP-compliant security configurations.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and security engineers to align cloud solutions with DHS mission needs.
