Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that underpins the WDP System. You will implement cloud services, optimize for performance and cost, and ensure security, scalability, and high availability across multi-cloud and hybrid setups.

You will architect IaC-driven provisioning, set governance, design cloud networking, and monitor cloud operations while meeting DoD 8140 requirements and security clearance expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in CS, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• Equivalent Training: Systems Developer (Advanced) Playlist.
• Professional Certification: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF or SSCP.
• 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, and security in enterprise environments.
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage cloud services, optimize architecture for performance and cost, and ensure secure, scalable, and highly available environments.
• Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions, implement IaC to automate provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies.
• Design cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, on-prem connections), configure security controls, and implement monitoring and logging.
• Optimize resource utilization, enable auto-scaling, and design disaster recovery and business continuity for cloud workloads.
• Evaluate new cloud services, maintain architecture documentation, and provide cloud expertise to teams.
