Job summary

Dine Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure for the DoD environment. The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and CI/CD in support of mission-critical DES O&M objectives.

The ideal candidate will hold a Secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, and extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, IaC tooling, and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level II certification required (Security+ CE or DoDM 8570).
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing automation using Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
• IAM/ICAM technologies knowledge (Azure AD, Okta, CyberArk).
• Familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code with automation tools.
• Support cloud modernization, migrations from on-prem to cloud.
• Troubleshoot Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, and apps.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams.
• Contribute to cloud architecture design for scalable, resilient environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Enforce cloud security and compliance with DoD/Federal frameworks.
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost efficiency; optimize as needed.
• Develop documentation, procedures, and engineering standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and operations staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
