Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage infrastructure across cloud environments. The role focuses on automated provisioning, scalability, reliability, and security of systems, working with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams.

Requirements include a BS in CS or related field and 5+ years in cloud engineering or DevOps, with strong Terraform and AWS experience. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work/military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform (writing modules, managing state, workspaces).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud provider.
• Experience with DevOps tools and utilities including Github, Ansible & CDK.
• Ability to work effectively in a Linux-based development environment.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in the cloud.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Migrate existing CloudFormation code to Terraform.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructure.
• Work with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to implement CI/CD and deployment strategies.
