- Provision and manage AWS services such as VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, and CloudFront.
- Integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline) with automated plan, validate, and apply workflows.
- Implement security and compliance controls: least-privilege IAM, encryption, security groups, KMS, and policy-as-code (Sentinel, OPA, or Checkov).
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost.
- Manage multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organizations, Control Tower, SCPs).
- Detect and remediate configuration drift, and support Terraform version and provider upgrades.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and participate in incident response.
- Document architecture, standards, and runbooks; mentor junior engineers.

- Strong working knowledge of core AWS services (networking, compute, storage, databases, IAM).
- Solid understanding of AWS networking: VPC design, subnets, NAT, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, and VPN/Direct Connect.
- Experience writing modular, DRY Terraform code (variables, outputs, locals, data sources, for_each, dynamic blocks).
- Proficiency with Git and branching/review workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline automation.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
