Job summary

Populous is seeking a Cloud Engineer with 5+ years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, collaborate across time zones, and support cloud migration and hybrid architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities include building secure networks, managing IaC (CDK/Terraform), and ensuring best practices with CI/CD tools. Excellent collaboration across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with VPNs, VPC/VNets and DNS.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, Terraform).
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Architect secure networks and firewall controls (Palo Alto awareness optional).
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code and review changes.
• Monitor performance, security, and compliance across environments.
• Support cloud migration and hybrid cloud architectures.
