UNCOMN is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Mid/Senior) in Illinois to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise apps. You will build IaC pipelines, support containerized workloads, and secure access across AWS and GovCloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AWS, strong Terraform/Bicep/ARM experience, and is prepared to pursue Security+ and cloud certifications within 30 days. DoD clearance and US citizenship are required for this role.

Formación

• 5+ years of related professional experience, preferably within AWS environments.
• Must currently meet DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF)/8140 requirements for Work Role 641 Intermediate or Advanced.
• Must be comfortable obtaining CompTIA Security+ certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must be comfortable obtaining a Cloud-based certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, US citizenship required.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for enterprise apps.
• Provision and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code for consistency.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to support enterprise cloud environments.
• Support deployments including containerized workloads in cloud environments.
• Monitor performance and reliability, optimize scalability and cost.
• Administer Linux systems and cloud-hosted databases in production.
• Manage identity and access with SAML/OAuth and federated authentication.
• Support AWS and/or Azure GovCloud environments in compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to support infrastructure.
• Document cloud architecture, configurations, and processes for continuity.
• Stay current with evolving cloud technologies and best practices.
