Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer for a 12+ month contract located in Mexico/United States onsite.

Relocation and day-one availability in the USA are required, with a strong emphasis on scalable AWS infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines. You will design and implement AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda), use Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC, and manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Lambda.
• Experience implementing IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on with container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Ansible.
• Create Python and Shell scripts to automate cloud operations.
• Configure AWS networking, IAM policies, and security controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Cloud Engineer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mexico/United States (onsite).

Key Responsibilities: -

• Note; Candidates must be willing to relocate and work onsite in the USA from Day 1
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure using EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Lambda.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment activities.
• Automate infrastructure configuration and application deployments using Ansible.
• Develop Python and Shell scripts to automate cloud operations, deployment, and administrative tasks.
• Configure and manage AWS networking, security, access controls, and IAM policies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting solutions to maintain system availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve cloud reliability, scalability, security, and deployment efficiency.
