Job summary

A technology solutions company is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a 12+ month contract. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of cloud operations experience, particularly with AWS technologies and Infrastructure as Code. Responsibilities include managing cloud environments and implementing CI/CD pipelines. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work in globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations.
• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Formation Templates.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies like EKS, ECS, S3, and more.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Go is a plus.

Job Description:

5+ Years of experience in Cloud Operations experience

Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud Formation Templates).

Hands on experience working with AWS technologies such as ECS, EKS, Load Balancer, Route 53, Auto Scaling Group, AWS Batch, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, SNS, Key Management Service

Extensive hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines

Development experience with two or more languages – Python, Java, Go etc. is a plus

Passionate about working in a DevOps culture.

Very strong technical curiosity to learn and passionate about new technologies and cloud trends.

Strong communication and influencing skills.

Experience working in globally distributed teams.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Equivalent.

Any certification in public Cloud (AWS) and/or Kubernetes is a plus..
