Job summary

The AWS Cloud Economics Scale team seeks a Benchmarking Program Manager to create and evangelize benchmarking studies that prove KPI-related cloud benefits for customers. You will build processes, content, and messaging for internal and external audiences, and work cross-functionally to scale study impact and apply insights to value-based cloud adoption cases.

Responsibilities include designing studies, managing vendors, developing scaling mechanisms, and tracking impact metrics for leadership

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Design studies and communicate market realities regarding the economics of running IT apps and infrastructures in the cloud vs. data centers.
• Develop and conduct new benchmarking studies to help customers understand cloud financial and operational benefits.
• Own the benchmarking study process and manage external vendors, including RFPs and vendor selection.
• Develop and execute go-to-market and scaling mechanisms for new studies.
• Design and manage program impact tracking metrics for leadership reporting.
