Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years backend software development with Python in cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration, troubleshooting, and cloud provisioning at scale.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and cloud-scale migration.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools for automation.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Spinnaker, etc.).
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, HTTP).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure automation tools and validation platforms.
• Design, develop, and operate resilient distributed systems across multiple data centers.
• Work with open source technologies and contribute where appropriate.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and write microservices on container platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Address complex technical issues to improve availability, resilience, and performance.
• Balance live-site management with feature delivery and debt reduction.
• Participate in on-call rotations to keep services running and available.
