Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of backend software development experience with Python.
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven Python programming experience and knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos).
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud provisioning (Terraform, Spinnaker, Puppet, Ansible, etc.).
• CI/CD expertise (Jenkins, Travis CI) and operating in Agile environments.
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, HTTP) and monitoring (Grafana).
• Experience with open-source tooling and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, and validation platforms.
• Design and operate resilient distributed systems across data centers and compute nodes.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and write microservices on container platforms.
• Resolve complex technical issues to improve availability, resilience, and performance.
• Balance live-site management with feature delivery and debt retirement.
• Participate in on-call rotation to address real-time incidents and keep services available.
• Contribute to open source projects and leverage AI-assisted development tools.
