Job summary

Leidos in Baltimore, Maryland seeks a DevOps Lead/Configuration Manager to drive CI/CD, environment configuration, and cloud infrastructure for the CMS CRM modernization within the CMS AWS Enclave and Pega Cloud for Government.

The role leads DevOps activities, designs and maintains pipelines, ensures high availability (SLA ≥99.9%), and coordinates with CMS Hybrid Cloud teams to support secure connectivity and zero-downtime deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or configuration management.
Experience with highly available AWS infrastructure following industry best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Experience leading technical teams and communicating with both technical staff and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead DevOps and configuration management activities for the CRM modernization within the CMS AWS Enclave and Pega Cloud for Government deployed in AWS GovCloud US-West.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment across environments.
Support and optimize the AWS infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and SLA compliance (≥99.9% uptime).
Coordinate with CMS Hybrid Cloud Team on cloud environment management and secure connectivity across environments.
Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and continuous security monitoring across AWS and Pega environments.
