Job summary

Exec Office of Economic Development in Boston is seeking a Director of IT, Cloud and Developer Operations. This role provides strategic and hands‑on leadership for EOED's cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and enterprise technology services, guiding modernization and secure deployment of applications across the Commonwealth.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern delivery.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS and Azure and with enterprise databases.
• Strong leadership, governance, and strategic IT planning capabilities.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, network concepts, and cybersecurity resilience.
• Experience leading IT initiatives, vendor management, and program governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Enterprise Technology Services to modernize platforms.
• Develop and execute EOED's IT Strategic Plan with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Oversee IT operations, end‑user computing, and enterprise applications.
• Build high‑performing technical teams and partnerships with vendors and SI partners.
• Advance cloud, DevOps, and SDLC practices including automation and AI‑enabled tooling.
• Lead business continuity, disaster recovery, COOP/COG plans, and resilience.
