Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Director of Solutions Architecture for our Boston team. This full-time role focuses on designing and delivering secure, scalable enterprise technology solutions in a modern AWS cloud environment, with emphasis on software development, data platforms, APIs, and AI/ML initiatives.

You will shape technology roadmaps, guide multiple squads, and drive architecture from strategy through implementation, collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years designing, developing, and delivering enterprise technology solutions.
• Proven experience leading solution architecture from strategy through implementation.
• Strong software development experience across databases, data platforms, and APIs.
• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.
• Strong AWS experience, including cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns, DevSecOps, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, scalability, resiliency, and data architecture.
• Experience with modernization and migration initiatives.
• Ability to evaluate technical risks and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
