Job summary

Pierce seeks an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines for deployment across AWS and Azure. You will develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).

You will monitor, log, and alert to ensure platform reliability, while collaborating with development teams to optimize cloud architecture and ensure security and compliance across environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS Experience with core services; strong networking and security.
• Demonstrable Azure experience with foundational services like VMs, Blob, and VNet.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for IaC.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS with secondary Azure responsibilities using IaC.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud architecture and security.
