Job summary

NTT DATA in Arlington, VA (REMOTE) seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate AWS-based infrastructure and pipelines. You will apply IaC, automate deployments, and strengthen security and observability across production systems.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with software and security teams, and drive continuous improvement in cloud architecture, CI/CD, and incident response in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting production environments as a DevOps/Cloud/SRE engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitHub runners, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, or CDK).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, secure deployments, and environment consistency.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting for cloud systems.
• Automate configuration management, environment provisioning, and operational workflows.
• Integrate security controls and compliance automation into DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, software, and data teams to ensure secure operations.
• Review architectures and improve secure cloud practices.
• Generate automated dashboards, documentation, and reporting for visibility.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
