Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Merrimack, NH to modernize cloud infrastructure and drive automation at scale.

You will work across CI/CD, IaC, and container platforms, collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve software delivery. Responsibilities include designing pipelines, managing IaC, securing cloud environments, and maintaining high availability with automated testing and DR capabilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to utilize modern monitoring tools (such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Splunk).
• Knowledge of WS Cloud DevOps services such as Jenkins, IAM, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of Docker containers and PaaS (such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher) highly desired.
• Hands-on Kubernetes skills and knowledge
• Expertise in Production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, real-time monitoring, and high availability and reliability of critical systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience engineering/sizing, installing, configuring, and maintaining mission critical applications.
• Hands-on Azure Active Directory experience
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues in the cloud.
• Experience in Instrumentation with systems skills on building and operating, monitoring, logging, alerting services of distributed systems at scale
• Demonstrated ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes using Jenkins/GitHub/DevSecOps functions.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Administer and support cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available environments.
• Create and maintain docker files, manifest files, and HELM Charts for different environments\orchestrators.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions for critical systems.
• Configure and manage web servers, application servers, and middleware components.
• Perform system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for production environments.
• Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and operational procedures.
