Job summary

Impiricus is seeking a Software Engineer (DevOps) to design, operate, and continuously improve the cloud infrastructure powering our AI‑driven HCP Engagement Platform.

You will own infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, reliability, and security, while contributing to QA automation and feature work as needed. You’ll build scalable AWS infrastructure with IaC and optimize deployments for high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years building production-grade software and 2+ years operating cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging AWS or third-party tools.
• Operate and optimize containerized and serverless workloads (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Fargate).
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot systems to ensure high availability.
• Implement AWS security best practices including IAM and VPC security groups.
• Automate infrastructure operations and scaling using scripting and AWS-native tools.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews for reliability and cost optimization.
• Identify and resolve software defects to maintain stability.
• Enhance QA automation to ensure reliable releases.
• Support additional infrastructure and operational efforts as needed.
