Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a Cloud DevOps and AI Security Engineer early in career to support secure AI infrastructure and scalable pipelines. You will work with developers and operations to implement secure cloud practices, automate deployments, monitor security posture, and document controls for responsible AI tooling.

Responsibilities include securing AI workflows, monitoring logs, provisioning AWS services, and contributing to CI/CD with infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

• Background in cloud engineering, security, or DevOps role.
• Experience with AWS or cloud platforms and basic security practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, scripting (Python/Bash), and Git workflows.
• Understanding of AI-enabled development workflows and responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Secure emerging AI infrastructure and AI-enabled development by documenting controls and validating tool configurations.
• Review logs and pipeline outputs to identify vulnerabilities or unusual activity.
• Provision and maintain core AWS services and related tooling (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Write or adapt Terraform/Serverless/AWS CloudFormation templates under guidance.
• Manage access controls using IAM and least-privilege principles.
• Collaborate with developers and operations to enable safe releases and reliable CI/CD.
• Create clear technical documentation for architecture diagrams, deployment processes and security protocols.
