Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent).
• Proficient in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS.
• Advanced backend: Java, Spring MVC/Security/Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs.
• Database design with PostgreSQL and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement robust backend APIs and services.

Overview

The Cloud Developer, Mid,is critical member of an agile software development team, contributing to the design, development, and operation & maintenance (O&M) of enterprise-scale applications. Leveraging agile methodologies and participating in Scrum ceremonies, this role will lead efforts to deliver innovative software solutions with a focus on backend API development using Java and Spring Boot, responsive and secure UI design with React, and optimized PostgreSQL schema development. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proven technical capabilities, and a track record of delivering software solutions from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Employ full-stack development expertise to deliver solutions using Java, Spring MVC/Security/Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement robust backend APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect scalable and secure PostgreSQL schemas, creating optimized queries and entity relationships.
• Utilize modern UI frameworks, including React and TypeScript/JavaScript, to create secure and responsive user interfaces.
• Implement reusable design patterns to promote efficiency and scalability in frontend solutions.
• Support data migration efforts between legacy and modern systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs for seamless data access and system integration.
• Plan and execute application deployments, utilizing version control and CI/CD pipeline best practices.
• Provide continued support across all project lifecycle phases and align solutions with enterprise security, 508 accessibility compliance, and other governance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in full-stack development roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Preferred 5+ years of demonstrated experience in enterprise application development.
• Proficient in frontend UI frameworks: React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Advanced backend development capabilities: Java, Spring MVC Framework/Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven build tools, Git/GitLab.
• Database design and migration expertise, including normalized PostgreSQL schemas and entity relationships.
• Proficiency in modern development tech stacks: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch), Keycloak for identity management, and CI/CD tools.

• Demonstrated experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies and Kanban frameworks.
• Proficient with Atlassian collaboration tools: Jira and Confluence.
• Strong performance in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process automation tools.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
• Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse technical teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic project environments.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams to resolve them.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
