Job summary

CTC Group in Fort Meade, MD, is seeking a Cloud Developer/Integrator to build and integrate cloud-native applications and microservices. You will design, develop, migrate, and optimize software for AWS environments, using Terraform and CloudFormation to configure infrastructure and container-based deployment strategies for high availability.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience with microservices and containerized apps.
• Migration of apps to cloud environments.
• Setting up cloud infra using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with ActiveMQ or Kafka messaging.
• Deployment strategies for high-availability systems.
• Experience debugging, testing, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to derive design and performance needs for cloud apps.
• Design, develop, modify, and integrate software components and microservices in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Migrate existing applications to cloud platforms and evaluate interfaces and performance.
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement container-based deployment strategies for high availability.
• Develop and maintain integrations using ActiveMQ and Kafka.
• Debug, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Develop tests, ensure quality, and document procedures.
• Prepare after-action reports and document improvements to SOPs.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and dev teams on integration and deployment.
