Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Four years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Twenty years’ experience as a SWE in programs of similar scope is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead software integration efforts across multiple development teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements, architectures, and constraints to define integration strategies.
• Design, modify, and integrate software components, microservices, and containerized apps in cloud environments (AWS).
• Oversee migration and modernization efforts, identify dependencies and risks.
• Manage cloud infrastructure via Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Coordinate messaging integration with ActiveMQ and Kafka.
• Evaluate deployment strategies for high-availability systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure software quality and oversee testing; document improvements.
• Prepare after-action reports detailing findings and SOP enhancements.
