Cloud Developer

Location: Mary Esther, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview

This position is for a Cloud Developer to support critical operations and modernize legacy systems. The role involves building and supporting secure, scalable, cloud-based solutions. The work environment is a highly integrated team setting where resilience, security, and precision are essential to mission success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Resolve complex cloud architecture, security, and modernization challenges across development, test, and production environments.
• Contribute to cloud development through hands-on implementation, testing, deployment automation, and continuous improvement.
• Use advanced AWS services, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education: BS in a related technical field or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years of combined IT experience. Two of the five years must be in implementing or sustaining enterprise-level solutions in a production cloud environment.

Technical Skills:

• Strong AWS expertise (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, AWS CLI).
• Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, Ansible.
• CI/CD experience: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• Containerization: Docker.
• Identity & directory services: Active Directory, IAM, Keycloak, PKI.
• Linux (RHEL) and Windows administration.
• Scripting: Bash, Python.
• Troubleshooting cloud applications across environments.
• Secure cloud configurations aligned with RMF, STIGs, SCAP, DevSecOps.
• Configuration management and version control (GitLab, GitHub).

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to design and sustain cloud-hosted applications and enterprise cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving skills across distributed systems.
• Ability to document architectures, baselines, and deployment artifacts.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Linux+ certification.
• Experience with Red Hat SSO.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud environments.
