Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design of scalable, cloud-based data platforms and complex pipelines. You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data architectures and governance practices.

You will mentor engineers, own end-to-end data solutions, and explore AI-enabled approaches to improve data quality, observability, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering delivering large-scale data platforms.
• Expert Python and SQL for complex data manipulation.
• Deep cloud platform experience (Azure preferred and/or GCP).
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, Dask and distributed processing.
• Knowledge of data modeling (Kimball, Inmon, data vault, data mesh).
• Experience with data integrations and APIs (Kafka, Event Hubs).
• DevOps/MLOps practices for production data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of large-scale data solutions.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines on cloud data platforms.
• Mentor and guide a team of data engineers.
• Own end-to-end data solutions from inception to production.
• Evaluate and prototype AI integrations to boost productivity.
